These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, web application, and mobile app of Courier 101 ("we", "our", or "us") and the courier, shipping, and related services we provide (collectively, the “Platform”).
By creating an account or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding agreement to use our services. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Accounts & Registration
To use certain features you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information, including your name, contact details, and Taxpayer Registration Number (TRN) where required. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Use of Services
Our services allow you to receive, consolidate, and have packages shipped and delivered. You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable customs, import, and tax regulations.
4. Prohibited & Restricted Items
You agree not to ship items that are illegal, hazardous, or otherwise prohibited by law or by our carriers. We reserve the right to refuse, hold, or dispose of any package that violates these restrictions, and you remain responsible for any related costs or penalties.
5. Shipping, Delivery & Customs
Estimated transit and delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. You are responsible for all applicable duties, taxes, customs charges, and any fees arising from inaccurate or incomplete package information.
6. Pricing & Payment
Fees for our services are displayed on the Platform and may change from time to time. All payments are securely processed via First Atlantic Commerce using a hosted payment page. Charges must be paid in full before packages are released for delivery, unless otherwise agreed.
7. Liability for Packages
While we take reasonable care in handling your packages, our liability for loss or damage is limited to the extent permitted by law and any applicable carrier coverage. We are not responsible for delays, losses, or damages caused by carriers, customs authorities, or events beyond our reasonable control.
8. Unclaimed & Abandoned Packages
Packages must be claimed and paid for within a reasonable period. We reserve the right to charge storage fees for, or dispose of, packages that remain unclaimed beyond that period.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Courier 101 or its licensors and may not be copied or used without our prior written permission.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if you breach these Terms or use the services in a manner that is unlawful or harmful to us or other users.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted here, and your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.
